Filmmaster in partnership with Circo de Bakuza, with the opening ceremony of UEFA Euro 2016 won the first prize of the 'Sporting Event' category at Bea Italia and the 2nd Prize of the "Best Sport Event" category at EUBEA 2016. The ceremony was broadcast live around the world, More than 130 million viewers on TV, more than 80,000 people in the stadium, and received comments of appreciation and a huge media coverage. The ceremony kicked off the long-awaited sporting event with incredible settings including a spectacular French garden with a surface area of ​​7500m2, a carousel and a reproduction of the Eiffel Tower, 36 meters high.
The "Joie de Vivre" typical of the French spirit was the concept on which the show was developed, a riot of colorful stage machines and costumes that ironically wink at a playful and surreal world.

The protagonists of the show were more than 400 performers, who interpreted icons of French culture with spectacular costumes, such as French kisses, barbapapas, carousel horses, collerettes and 144 cancan dancers. To crown the show, the revelation of an exceptional pop star: the famous DJ David Guetta who amazed the audience by appearing from the carousel, playing and mixing his most famous songs including the official anthem of the European Championships, which he presented at audience together with Zara Larsson, accompanied by 60 musicians from the Garde Republicaine and a choir of 60 children from Radio de France. The show closed with the exciting passing of the tricolor arrows and a choreography in the stands representing the flags of all the participating nations.
