Opening Ceremony

Filmmaster Events oversaw the Opening Ceremony of Expo 2015, which took place on April 30. The event had a strong institutional identity, in line with the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) protocol and other major international events. In addition to producing and developing the creative concept, Filmmaster Events also handled the organizational secretariat, management, and logistics for invited guests. The ceremony was designed to convey the values of Italian tradition and excellence, emphasizing the significance of this grand event for Italy and the entire world. Within the ceremony, there was the production of some video content, and coordination of all live interventions in agreement with the broadcaster. CEO Antonio Abete stated, "We were very proud to take part in the Inauguration Ceremony of Expo Milano 2015, marking the culmination of a year-long collaboration. Expo was a highly anticipated event, and the time had finally come to begin, and we were ready.
With 5,000 guests, the international press, and a live Eurovision broadcast watched by millions, the Ceremony was a major success enjoyed around the world.

Alfredo Accatino, Chief of Creative Team said: "On this occasion, the tones were undoubtedly institutional because we wanted to respect the protocol and the request for sobriety from Expo's leadership. In fact, a portion of the setups will be reused throughout the semester for maximum optimization. We have been alongside Expo for over a year, initially with preliminary events in preparation for the Universal Exposition, then as an Official Supplier & Partner. Finally, we signed off on the contents of three sponsored company pavilions (Intesa, San Pellegrino, and CNH).We have been breathing in this atmosphere for a while, and we have been confident that it would have been a memorable ceremony.
