Opening and Closing Ceremony

At the end of the first half of the match, after just 5 minutes of setup for a 12x7 meter stage, the show began: first the arrival of helicopters, then the giant face of the iconic wolf that transforms into that of the singer, introducing Shakira’s arrival on stage, accompanied by 12 dancers directed by choreographer Chris Grant. Five digital scenarios were created, inspired by Shakira's latest album, one for each song: two large faceted wolves howling during "Hips Don’t Lie," green flames framing the field for "Te Felicito," gems raining over the stadium during "TQG," and a pool of diamonds replacing the field for "Punteria."

CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 proved to be an extraordinary event, celebrating the best of football in the Americas. Organized in the United States, this 48th edition of the tournament saw the participation of 16 national teams, including teams from CONMEBOL and CONCACAF, hosted in 14 different cities. The event reinforced its role as the longest-running football tournament in the world, with a history dating back to 1916. The tournament offered moments of great sportsmanship and competition, culminating in unforgettable matches that captured the attention of millions of fans worldwide.
