Synopsis Alison, rebellious punk daughter of a redundant security guard returns to her home in Ireland to find that her room has been rented to a shy, nerdy italian teenager, Simone.Her return throws the household in disarray and as quarrels with her dad become increasingly frequent, she decides to run away from home.Simone, who is hopelessly uncofortable in the Irish working class enviroment, decides to go with her, in spite of his fears and anxieties.The two set off on an exciting journey in which Alison introduces the young boy to the "colours" of eccentric underground culture and dramatic beauty of her country.Meanwhile, their alerted fathers are forced to swallow their reciprocal antipathy as they follow the tracks of new age rave in search of their children.After a sereis of misadventures, the four will reunite and each will have gained a ray of hope and a brath of freedom from the exeperience. |
